We are currently seeking to recruit an Architectural Technician / CAD Technician / CAD Draftsman to provide experienced professional support to the Architectural team involving design proposals, professional expertise, and support, working in direct collaboration with the design team implementing the requirements of individual project briefs. This role will be based in our clients head office in Chichester.

This is a great opportunity for an Architectural Technician / CAD Draftsman / CAD Technician to join a forward thinking team of Chartered Surveyors, Architect and Engineers who work on exciting projects across the South East of the UK.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• To prepare drawings, BIM models, specifications, tender and construction information.

• Preparing construction details for projects, buildings, elements, or components in line with current building practice and regulations.

• Working with the Architectural team to develop schemes for clients through all RIBA work stages.

• Reviewing works in production and dealing with clients, contractors, and suppliers.

• Preparation of tender information to include drawings, specifications and accompanying documents.

• Clearly communicating proposed solutions to all design team members and client team.

• Attending meetings, taking, preparing, checking, and issuing minutes where required.

• Acting as a point of contact for technical and construction matters

Skills & Experience Required:

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, or Revit (or equivalent BIM software), with delivery of 2D or 3D models through BIM workflows and procedures on construction projects.
• Good working knowledge of current building practice and regulations.
• Knowledge of all RIBA stages
• Full UK Drive Licence preferable.
