Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team in Dunfermline. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pipefitting, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering precision work. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects, contribute to the installation of piping systems, and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to plan and execute the installation of piping systems accurately.
  • Cut, thread, and bend pipes to required dimensions using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Assemble and install piping components, such as valves, fittings, and supports, according to design specifications.
  • Conduct tests to ensure the integrity and functionality of piping systems, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter, with expertise in pipe installation and assembly.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, piping isometrics, and specifications.
  • Strong practical skills in using pipefitting tools and equipment, including cutting, threading, and bending machinery.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship with precision and accuracy.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in pipefitting (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) are advantageous but not essential.
