Maintenance Supervisor – Building Services

Location: Victoria

Salary: £55,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 08:00 – 17:00

Alice Rose is currently looking to speak with Maintenance Supervisors from a building services background to join one of the lead technical maintenance providers in London. Our client has been successful in securing a new commercial site in Victoria and are now in the process of mobilising with a Tenant Supervisor.

The successful Maintenance Supervisor will have an electrical bias with the relevant qualifications and the ability to manage client expectations throughout the property. Also, successfully maintain all building services plant, have a proven track record of issuing permits, RAMS, assigning PPMs, and a professional approach when dealing with the client.

Maintenace Supervisor Duties:

• Manage client and building users expectations and to aim for consistently high levels of customer satisfaction. Management of client relationship daily.
• Manage agreed KPIs and SLAs, ensuring best use of all resources to ensure targets are met.
• Responsible for managing the company’s quality procedures on site.
• Ensure that the site has adequate resource both labour and material to allow BS to complete contractual obligations.
• Assist with the development of all direct reports, which will include annual PDR process.
• Assist in the preparation of all reports required by either client or Building Services management team.
• Represent Building Services at all client meetings, as directed by line manager.
• Any other duties as reasonably requested by the client Building Services senior management.
• Coordinate and take responsibility for all planned and reactive maintenance for all equipment, plant, services, and systems.
• Comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including Health and Safety legislation and safe systems of work.
• Work safely on ELV/LV and generated electrical systems in accordance with all statutory electrical regulations and health and safety legislation and regulations as appointed Competent Person (LV)
• Diagnose faults and coordinate repair in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations or best practice guidance.

Maintenance Supervisor Qualifications & Experience:

• Level 3 or higher in Electrical Installations.
• Electrical experience essential
• 17th / 18th Edition and LV/AP
• Mechanical Experience
• Sound knowledge of H&S legislation and some knowledge of COSHH
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of employee, customer, and client.
