Service Engineer - Machinery - UK AND INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

My client is a highly regarded global manufacturer of packaging machinery solutions that has seen continuous success within its specialist market, supplying FMCG sectors.

They are now recruiting an extra Service Engineer. Product training will be provided to engineers with suitable previous experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated service engineer / maintenance engineer / installation engineer with experience working on automated manufacturing equipment with a keen interest in International travel.

This role varies between factory-based engineering responsibilities in Lincolnshire to worldwide installations, maintenance, and servicing on a range of packaging lines.

The Role:

• Install, maintain, and service manufacturing machinery
• Working both mechanically and electrically, with manufacturer training given
• You will gain manufacturer training
• Covering the UK and overseas, staying away from a few nights to a few weeks at a time

You:

• Competent using PLC programming such as Allen Bradley/Rockwell is essential
• Flexible, willing and able to work overseas occasionally for several days at a time.
• Packaging / automated manufacturing machinery experience e.g. conveyors, material handling, food processing or similar
• Mechanical or Electrical qualifications

Package:

• Basic salary: around £38,000 + O.T.E = up to £65,000 inc overseas travel top up
• Company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop will be provided
• Overtime rate
