Fire and Security Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security (Intruder/CCTV) engineer for a leading Fire and Security business based in the South East. This company a growing and forward-thinking service provider. This role offers a fantastic training and progression opportunity working with experienced technicians whilst gaining full training and manufacturer accreditations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for carrying out reactive Intruder / CCTV service work and planned maintenance on high-end residential and commercial systems.
• Working also on fire systems although the role is primarily security focussed
• Supporting customers and other engineers throughout the London and Surrey region
• Following British and European Standards and knowledge also of all relevant BAFE/NSI codes of practice.
• Dealing with call outs for fault finding and repairs
• Providing an exceptional customer service

Essential Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years experienced as a service engineer in the security sector
• Experienced with CCTV, iIntruder and Access Control Systems 
• Excellent communication skills dealing with clients at all level
• Great time management and ability to work under pressure

Desirable Experience

• Security technology systems training and experience 
• Experience working on Fire systems working in line with industry standards
• Experience working on a wide variety of brands and systems
