Control Panel Technician

Our client who designs and manufactures production line equipment are keen to recruit Control Panel Builder to work in a small team to build, wire and install electrical control panels.

Duties:
- Work alongside Automation Technicians to build, wire and install electrical control panels
- Ensure panel components match the requirements of the issued wiring diagram and control panel layouts
- Assemble control panel enclosure building plinths, assembling bays and side panels
- Work with Electrical Design Draughtsman to accomplish best panel layout and design and assemble components accordingly
- Work with the Electrical Design Draughtsman and Automation Technician to wire the control panel using the issued wiring diagrams
Requirements:
- Previous panel wiring experience would be preferable
- Apprentice trained and/or a formal Electrical Engineering Qualification is essential
- A systematic approach to work with great attention to detail is required
- Experience of working with automated production machinery or other similar capital equipment
- Must be flexible with a willingness to lean to expand scope of knowledge
- Experience gained working within a project environment in cross-functional project teams
