Control Support Engineer

Salary: €3600 - €4600 per month

The employer specialises in Automated warehouses and is a global company who design, install and maintain the automation machinery on behalf of their clients.

You will become a technical expert and be given increasing responsibilities. Besides training, you and your team are responsible for quickly resolving errors and other problems on our customers' systems. You track and resolve incidents and you are responsible for logging and monitoring these tickets in our service management tool. If an incident cannot be resolved on site, you perform a quick fix and coordinate the incident to the relevant specialists. After the incident is fixed, you analyse the cause of the incident and devise solutions together with your team to prevent recurrence. Most of these support tasks are carried out 24/7 from our office via VPN connections. For our local service organisations (worldwide), you and your colleagues are the point of contact for low-level operating software-related problems that cannot be solved locally. You therefore form an important link between the various service organisations and internal departments, while regularly communicating directly with customers.

Requirements:

As a Controls Support Engineer, you will have a lot of contact with customers, so it is important that you have good communication skills. You are good at analysing problems, asking the right questions, listening to the customer and translating your findings into a technical solution.

• Education in a technical field
• Relevant work experience is preferred, but we are also willing to train you to become a controls expert!
• You have a strong affinity with controls technology
• You have excellent communication skills
• You can communicate well in English
• You are willing to work in a 24/7 roster together with your team (incl. shift bonus)
