A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a dynamic and growing engineering company that work on some exciting and unique projects within the POwer, Energy and Buildings industries.
 
They are seeking a Bid Manager to join their Sales department, duties will include:
 
·Lead critical project and framework bids.
·Take ownership and a proactive approach towards company bids
·Lead the companies bid strategy, bid programme development, allocation of deliverables and the bud settlement process.
·Show a proactive and organised approach to monitoring further bid/tender opportunities within the company
·Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to ensure bids are of the best possible standard

The Person:
 
·Experience working within or managing a bid team, ideally from and engineering background.
·Proactive and organised approach
·Understanding of engineering procurement process and routes to market within the sector.
·Experience navigating electronic bid portals and a rounded knowledge of the varying ways in which bids can be submitted.
·A true team player, who is not afraid to challenge and disrupt where necessary to achieve the right result.
 
 
Our client are based in Sheffield, somebody within easy commuting distance would be ideal for when office visits are required, but the role could lead to trips across the UK, so a hybrid model is on offer.
