MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Engine Maintenance Technician to join a Power Generation business.
Covering Oxford, Basingstoke and Southampton, you will travel to various sites to carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of engines and generators.
As the Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance on various sites across Oxford, Basingstoke and Southampton
- Responding to breakdowns and carrying out repairs efficiently on large Gas Engines and CHP units
- Operate within strict Health & Safety standards
- Ensure all paperwork and legislation is followed and kept up to date
- Working as part of an on-call rota with a team of other engineers
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Proven experience in an engine maintenance role
- The ability to travel to various sites with a flexible approach to hours
- A relevant engineering qualification; Apprenticeship/NVQ/Btec/HNC etc
- A full UK driving licence is essential
