Mechanical Site Supervisor (Fabricated Products)
Our client is looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to join the Delivery Team, focusing on assembling and installing fabricated products on water treatment plants. We're looking for a flexible, enthusiastic individual with water industry experience.
Location: Site-based role covering the South of England, with regional and nationwide travel.
Regular overnight stays and occasional visits HQ in Ireland may be required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and assist with on-site mechanical installation works.
- Ensure all activities comply with health & safety standards.
- Ensure systems are installed, tested, and commissioned to relevant standards.
- Assist fitters and other operatives with site activities.
- Communicate method statements, risk assessments, and procedures.
- Maintain good housekeeping and implement emergency plans when required.
- Comply with risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Engineering/science qualification (HND/HNC/C&G or equivalent).
- Minimum two years' experience in a similar role in utilities or M&E engineering.
- Experience in planning, supervising, and carrying out steelwork assembly and welding.
- Training/qualifications in coded welding or steel fixing preferred.
- Electrical awareness and training advantageous.
Package:
- Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 negotiable based on experience.
