TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project in London. They are looking for an HVAC Supervisor to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team on a permanent basis.

The Primary responsibility will overseeing the HVAC PPM’s across the London Underground Contract. Looking after and making sure everything is up to date with all statutory compliance also overseeing and coordinating the repair and maintenance of HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervision/escorting of subcontractors
• Carrying out surveys for compiling quotations for remedial works and small projects
• Day to day management of the PPM activities
• Carry out regular analysis of current PPM regime across the portfolio to identify current trends & patterns to achieve effective & efficient delivery of engineering resource.
• Helping the reactive helpdesk with information so they can complete activities.
• Completion and management of PPM based risk assessments.
• Vetting RAMS and safe systems of work when supervising subcontractors.
• Completion of permit to work documents for subcontractors.
• Chasing progress updates on spares and other procured materials and equipment
• Offer guidance and assistance to the site engineering team
• Provide holiday and sickness cover for other members of your team if required
• Continually review with the team leader operational performance to ensure engineering efficiency and first-time fix ratio is maximised whilst non-productive time is kept to an absolute minimum
• Engineer development to ensure that a high-quality team is maintained including performance management, succession planning and personal development.
• To develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal clients and key stakeholders.
• Deliver engineer and site audits in line with Company Health & Safety policy
• Deal with engineering issues daily and escalate where required
• Actively engage with new engineering team members and the new starter process to ensure a seamless introduction to the contract.

Qualifications/Experience

• A Time Served Mechanical / HVAC Supervisor with a Large fan units or Tunnel ventilation
• Experience in managing a team of engineers
• Flexibility to adapt to new challenges
• FGAS is desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience and knowledge on TfL work or Rail desirable
• L8 Awareness trained (preferable)
• Experience and knowledge on TfL work or Rail preferred
• L8 Awareness trained (preferable)
• Low/High Pressure Steam Systems (desirable)

Van, Fuel Card, PPE and London Underground courses provided.
