Service Engineers Responsibilities

As a Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our global customer base. On some occasions, you will be based in their offices near leeds and on other occasions you will be expected to make customer site/service visits as well as being involved in design and build projects.

Your responsibilities will include installation, commissioning, customer training, repairs, preventative maintenance services, calibration services, and remote technical support through phone and email. Additionally, you will collaborate with their design department on product development projects and uphold the highest level of professionalism in customer interactions.

Key requirements

  • Delivering service activities (which include: installation commissioning, customer training, repairs, preventative maintenance services, calibration services, remote technical support)
  • Installing and servicing textile manufacturing equipment.
  • Assisting the design department in product development projects.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with customers and resolving issues promptly.
  • Accurate and timely reporting of all activities( i.e Service reports, expense reports etc.).

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Electrical/Mechanical Apprenticeship, ideally with HNC/HND level of education or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to Health & Safety and Quality standards.
  • Energy, drive, and dedication to success.
  • Willingness to travel, including international travel.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Valid driving license.

Schedule:
