Facilities Assistant

We currently have a great opportunity for a Facilities Management Assistant to join our in-house Construction company, Property Plus, on a permanent basis.
We’re looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.
The Role
As a Facilities Management Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with repairs and housekeeping services throughout the Group as well as providing assistance to operatives as instructed.
Duties and tasks involved include collection and delivery of materials, plant and equipment from suppliers to sites; unload, store and stack materials as necessary. You will also carry out general labouring duties including, but not limited to, small works, building fabric repairs and general building maintenance tasks.
What skills and experience we are looking for:
- Basic experience of simple building work / basic DIY knowledge
- Basic understanding of Health and Safety issues
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Understanding of customer focus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Good communication skills; both written and verbal
- Flexible working approach
- Have the ability to complete assignments and take tasks through to completion
- Full UK Driving Licence
