A European wide manufacturer of loading bays and dock leveller equipment are looking for an Industrial Door Engineer to join their expanding team in the Guildford, Reading and Kent areas. With this role, you will be supplied with a Ford transit van, a £100 standby fee working a 1 week in 5 call out rota and paid £30 per call-out attended, pension scheme and company mobile phone.

This Industrial Door Engineer role requires you to have:

  • Practical experience working on dock levellers, dock shelters and loading bay equipment such as roller shutters, high speed, rapid rollers, sectionals, gates, barriers and overhead doors.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience recommending further works to be carried out on site.
  • Installation, servicing and repair experience.
  • Electrical, Welding or hydraulics experience.

The remuneration package involved for a successful Industrial Door Engineer is as follows:

  • £35,000 + basic salary working a 40-hour contract. (£49,000 OTE)
  • Call out rota 1 in 5 weeks paid £100 standby fee and a minimum of 3 hours paid per call-out attended.
  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays (25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays)
  • Pension scheme.
  • All power tools and hand tools provided.
  • Professionally racked company vehicle.
