Job Opportunity: CNC Machinist (Miller / Turner)

Position: CNC Machinist (Milling / Turning)

Location: Sheffield

Pay: £16.77 - £19.62 (depending on shift rotation)

Shifts: Rotating Shifts (Monday to Friday)

• Day Shift: 6:00 am - 1:45 pm (12:00 pm finish on Friday)
• Late Shift: 1:30 pm - 9:15 pm (11:45 pm to 5:45pm on Friday)
• Possibility of night shift being added further down the line

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines (lathes or mills) with precision and efficiency
• Working with alloys used in aerospace industry
• Ensure the quality of products meets our high standards
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Collaborate with the team to achieve production goals
• Adhere to safety and quality guidelines

Qualifications:

• CNC experience is essential
• Basic knowledge of programming (reading / adjusting programs)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
