A leading supplier of rolled copper alloy are looking to recruit a Furnace Engineer based in Aston, Birmingham are looking to recruit a Furnace Engineer.

Annual Salary/Benefits:
Daily Hours: Monday to Friday 7am until 3pm. These hours maybe amended.
Working within their Foundry maintenance team, building and maintaining induction channel furnaces and carrying out routine Foundry Maintenance.

- £32,000 (OTE £38,000)

Working within their Foundry maintenance team, building and maintaining induction channel furnaces and carrying out routine Foundry Maintenance.
Your role:
- Carrying out small brick work projects.
- Installing both dry lined and wet rammed refractory materials.
- Assisting in the day to day breakdown repairs in the Foundry.
- Repairing heat treatment furnaces
- Ensuring that high volume production equipment is running effectively at all times.
- Responding to reactive machine breakdowns.
- Adhering to a preventative planned maintenance programme.
- Working within very tight tolerances and high precision.
- Experience in building and maintaining furnaces.
- Must be able to work well as part of a team.
- Fork Lift Truck licence is desirable
