Our client is looking for a Site Engineer to join their growing team in their Leeds office looking after projects across the Yorkshire region. This is a great opportunity for an Engineer looking to progress their career in a friendly supportive environment where they will be trained well.

      Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying of construction site.
• Ensuring that all works are complete to the latest revisions of construction drawings.
• Deliver site inductions including completion of the associated attendance briefing sheet.
• Ensuring the works are completed without harm and in line with Seymour Safety, Health & Environmental standards.
• Ensuring that all deliveries are fully checked before being signed for.
• The delivery of daily briefings to all site-based personnel.
• Ensuring the works are completed to correct quality in accordance with relevant specifications and construction drawings.
• Daily management of site operatives and subcontractors.

• Notifying Wages and Human Resources of any absence (authorised or unauthorised) and sickness.
• Ensuring all relevant documents are returned to Head Office.
• Ensuring adequate dilapidation survey / pre‐start photographs are taken prior to commencing on‐site
• Ensuring adequate progress photographs are taken during the construction phase of the project. This includes daily photographs of all work fronts irrespective of progress made or if works are ‘standing’.
• Ensuring adequate completion photographs are taken upon completion of the works.
• Collation of as‐built construction information.
• Any other duties as required for the role.

What do we need from you:

• Appropriate knowledge of construction methods and specifications required to complete the works.
• Good practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Good communication skills – written and verbal.
• Good interpersonal skills – ability to liaise with site team.
• Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS).

• Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Site supervisor’s card.
• NVQ Level 3 construction supervisor.
• Temporary Works Supervisor.
• New Roads and Street works Act (NRASWA) Supervisor.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Full driving licence.
