This is a contract role for an Engineer with an electrical, control, and instrumentation engineering background to bring together all the technical documentation e.g., design specifications, drawings, wiring diagrams, risk assessments etc… to enable completed projects to be successfully handed over to the customer. The design work on the projects have already been completed.

Your background as an Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer:

• Previous experience working within an Electrical Engineer or Instrumentation Engineer or E&I Engineer focused role.
• Be familiar with technical / engineering documentation that is created as part of E&I engineering projects e.g., designs, drawings, P&IDs, specifications, risk assessments etc…  
• Comfortable communicating with customers, suppliers, and engineering colleagues. 
• You are likely to hold a relevant qualification (HNC, HND, or Degree) in an electrical engineering, electronic engineering, instrumentation engineering or similar engineering discipline.

The Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer job will involve:  

• Bringing together the electrical and instrumentation technical documentation e.g., design specifications, drawings, wiring diagrams, risk assessments etc… to enable projects to be fully completed and handed over to the customer.
• Complete projects combine mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and software engineering elements.
• Work closely with the wider engineering team – Project Managers, E&I Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Systems Engineers.
