DAYS Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Weekend call out 1 in 2 weekends (paid) + paid OEM training abroad 

The Company:
My Client have been established for over twenty years and have experienced year on year growth since – they are part of the packaging sector. They have great etho’s – massive focus on sustainability, reducing their carbon footprint and working in an environmentally friendly way. They now have multiple sites across the UK and there has never been a more exciting time to join them as a maintenance engineer. They are constantly innovating and improving their product line and continuously expanding. This role will involve 5 days in Budapest for bespoke training on their new machinery by the OEM.

This role will involve some travel to the Telford site but this will mainly be based at Worcester. You will be multi-skilled but majority of work will involve mechanical duties

Experience required for the maintenance engineer:
 

  • Minimum 3 years experience working as a mechanically biased maintenance engineer  
  • you will have extensive experience working with bearings, chains, straps, belts, chains and all things mechanical
  • Pneumatic fault diagnosis experience ideally
  • Some knowledge of electrical fault finding is advantageous
  • Anybody who has worked within printing or on print presses, cylinders, slitting lines would be advantageous
  • Any maintenance engineer from a manufacturing environment welcome – FMCG, Food, plastic, packaging, Pharmaceutical, foundry, brick, distribution, automotive, metals, RAF, Forces etc.
