Job Role: Mobile Tail Lift Engineer

Salary: £30,000- £33,000

Job Description:

 Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Tail Lift Engineer to join their team. As a Mobile Tail Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing tail lift systems on various vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition. You will primarily work on-site, traveling to different locations to carry out inspections, repairs, and servicing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair tail lift systems on trucks, vans, and other vehicles.
• Diagnose technical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure functionality.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to identify and prevent potential problems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers on tail lift operation and maintenance.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Always comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mobile Tail Lift Engineer or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of tail lift systems and hydraulic components.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in engineering or a related field preferred.
