Technical Service Manager Position - Worchestershire Based

We are currently representing a leading manufacturer in the field of Forced Draught, Pressure Jet, and Process Burners, serving the Heating, Commercial, and Process markets. Their product range includes blown air pressure jet burners for all fuel types, available in Monoblock and Duoblock versions up to 45 MW, with a global reach spanning over 60 countries. They are renowned for their dedication to excellence and reliability in meeting heating needs across various applications, from domestic to industrial settings.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished Technical Service Manager on behalf of our client, who is looking to fill this pivotal role due to retirement. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing essential day-to-day after-sales support, managing the Technical Service Helpdesk, and offering assistance to engineers, customers, and internal stakeholders. This role will also involve aspects of sales support, requiring a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose faults and provide technical support for Forced Draught Burners, Gas, Oil, and Dual Fuels.
- Operate the Technical and Service Help Desk, managing inquiries via phone and email, including booking service calls and managing warranties.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including international contacts.
- This is an office-based role with occasional travel to customer sites and overseas for training purposes.
Requirements:
- GCSE Level C or 4 in Math and English.
- Essential knowledge of Forced Draught & Pressure Jet Burners.
- Gas Safe and/or Oftec registration preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in multitasking and managing priorities.
- Proximity to the company's Head Office in Worcester and willingness to travel.
- Full, clean UK Driver’s Licence.
