£60,000 - £65,000/annum

The successful Hardware Design Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the Hardware Department. This includes the allocation of work, management of resources, coordinating with other Department Managers and reporting to stakeholders.

The role will involve:

  • Day to day and strategic planning and management of tasks and resources
  • Implementing department direction to achieve agreed goals.
  • Represent the departments interests within the wider R&D organisation.
  • Reviewing, developing, implementing, and managing of systems, processes and procedures within the department
  • Ensure all designs are effectively and efficiently designed and reviewed, working within the multi-disciplinary R&D teams.
  • Work with internal departments as needed to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Assisting relevant departments in fault finding designs to the component level, utilising schematics, PCB layouts and internal resources as appropriate
