Our client, a well-known contractor with a large pipeline of work, are seeking a Document Controller to work on a HS2 based in Chipping Warden.

You must be able to drive and have your own vehicle.

The Document Controller, reporting to the Project Manager, will be responsible for the management, distribution and filing of documents required for

operational efficiency, regulatory and legal compliance for our project.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a diligent work ethic and the initiative to challenge and create better ways of working. Self-disciplined

approach is required, along with the ability to process high volumes of information in an accurate and prompt manner.

This is a site-based role, based in a major London terminal undergoing redevelopment.

Responsibilities and Tasks Include:

  • Receive, log and distribute project documentation;
  • Review and update technical documents;
  • Creation, maintenance and coordination of document registers;
  • Scan, copy and store documents electronically;
  • Retrieve files as required and distribute to project teams;
  • Manage documentation transmission;
  • Collate information and prepare reports;
  • ID and file documents in accordance with project standards;
  • Create systems and templates;
  • Carry out general office administrative roles in support of the project team;
  • Assist with internal and external audits

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller or experience within a similar role;
  • Experience of working with many file types.
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft office & Excel)
  • Full driving license
