As a Compactor Service Engineer, your main responsibility is to conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping on Bywaters equipment and other machinery within the business as required, adhering to operational efficiencies and health and safety protocols. You'll need to follow maintenance and housekeeping schedules outlined by the MRF Engineering Manager to optimise operational efficiencies, maintain performance and productivity metrics, and effectively manage costs. It's crucial to comply with company health and safety regulations and quality standards, ensuring that equipment maintenance aligns with these guidelines.

Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £36,000 -£38,000 per annum

Compactor Service Engineer Requirements:

• Ability to work to a process whilst prioritising, problem solving and having good decision
• making abilities
• Ability to work equally autonomously and in a team environment
• Self-motivated with desire for continual personal development
• Flexibility/availability for emergency call out and weekend work as required meeting the operational needs of the facility
• Good eyesight and normal colour vision
• Full driving licence
• Knowledge of current H&S legislation, applying health & safety effectively
• Experience of welding and fabrication
• Three phase electrical experience and qualification viewed as an advantage
• Hydraulic experience is essential
