My client is a reputable civils contractor who are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Please note this is a regional role - we are looking for someone to look after the North West Region
Duties:
We are currently recruiting a Site Manager to join the company and manage a civils scheme based in Northumberland.
Site Manager Responsibilities:
- Reporting and working alongside the Project Manager and Contracts manager.
- Site Supervision and compliance with health and safety
- Keeping site diaries
- RAMS
- Quality Assurance.
- Managing the labour and putting men to work.
- Ensuring all paperwork is filed and organised.
- Liasing with the client, providing weekly/monthly progress reports.
- Pushing and following programme.
- Reading and understanding drainage drawings.
- Ordering materials.
Site Manager Requirements:
- CSCS black card or gold card
- First Aid
- SMSTS
- Demonstrated experience on civil engineering projects (highways, water, RC structures, environmental etc)
