CAD Designer

Sphere Solutions is seeking a talented Cabinet Furniture CAD Designer to join our Client's busy team in Plymouth.

Reporting to the Senior Project Estimator. This role involves leading the design, procurement, and technical aspects of the Cabinet/Panel production department. This position offers opportunities for career growth, with the potential to lead a team as the department expands.

The ideal candidate will have experience in

• Producing detailed technical designs for panel furniture
• Liaise and negotiate with Interior Design Teams and Material Suppliers
• Managing procurement processes,
• Overseeing component inventory.

Key responsibilities include

• Qualifications and experience in technical design.
• Experience creating 2D and 3D CAD production drawings for panel products.
• Product development.
• Supplier negotiations.
• Inventory management.

Qualities such as honesty, loyalty, attention to detail, and customer care are essential.
