Our client is an FMCG Manufacturing business that due to growth is looking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Scunthorpe.
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Nights) - The Rewards
- Salary £40,000
- Shift pattern - 12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off (4 day shifts followed by 4 night shifts)

- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Mechanical and electrical engineering experience
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge/experience in a food or FMCG company would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given
- Attention to detail and problem solving
- Conducting both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of production machinery
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance of FMCG machinery (multiple production lines of various equipment)
- Maintaining/installation of site and equipment housekeeping in compliance to agreed standards
- Preventative and Reactive maintenance
- Installation Work
- Fault finding & remedial work
- PLC diagnostics
- Documentation of work carried out
- Identification of part/spares, ordering and maintaining inventory to agreed stock levels
- Continuous improvement activities
- Liaising with the production team to minimise downtime
