Salary/Rate:
£28,000 - £32,000/annum
Role: Lead Quality Engineer
Department: Quality Assurance 
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience 
Hours: 38 hour working week, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:
  • Document and notify the relevant authorities of nonconformities and customer complaints for analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Assist in data collection and trend analysis of finished goods punch list items.
  • Conduct internal Quality Management System (QMS) audits as requested.
  • Provide administrative support for updating internal procedures and instructions.
  • Assist in updating internal and external literature, including certifications and product documentation.
  • Aid in CAD drawing revisions.
  • Support equipment calibration maintenance.
  • Manage the returns process including coordination, inspection, and rework.
  • Offer advice and support to peers on quality-related matters.
  • Liaise with various departments to address and resolve product issues.
  • Assist in training new staff.
Secondary:
  • Support Quality Inspectors in part inspection and verification.
  • Produce detailed inspection records and resolve resulting issues.
  • Assist in electrical testing and inspection against engineering drawings.
  • Conduct final inspections and testing against customer specifications.
  • Perform other duties as required within the Quality Control team.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Experience in inspecting electrical/mechanical products in relevant industries.
  • Proficiency in using standard measuring equipment and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with ATEX standards.
