Structural Design Engineer

A market leading engineering contractor are keen to expand their specialist in-house design team, due to a significant order book. They have an excellent variety of work that ranges between designing rail station structures, bridges, temporary works and energy/power projects.

This would suit an ambitious engineer who would like to work on high-profile projects, for one of the UK best. The company offer an excellent set of benefits, including hybrid working and a market-leading bonus scheme!

Role and responsibilities

  • Take a lead role in managing civil/structural design projects
  • Producing drawings, reports and specifications
  • Liaising with clients

Requirements

  • Extensive civil/structural design experience (ideally a minimum of 3 years post-grad) within either the rail structures, bridges, or energy/power structures environment
  • Degree, but preferably holding a Masters in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Progressing towards chartership

Package

  • Salary + car allowance + bonus, totalling £43,000 - £48,000
