Job Title: Machine Setter

Location: Dudley

Pay Rates: Dependent on experience £12 - £16 per hour

Shift Patterns: Days with an early finish on Friday

We are working with a Market Leading precision engineering business based in the heart of Dudley. Our client is well known for their award-winning products and is looking for an experienced Grinding Machine Setter to join their thriving team. Opportunities like this don't come around here very often as their staff turnover is extremely low. However, due to circumstances within the company there is a space for a meticulous, experienced Grinding Machine setter who is precise with their work and values quality products.

This is not a mass production role therefore no two days are the same…

Responsibilities:

Setting and operating various grinding machines.

Grinding internal and external components using a Magnetic Chuck.

Vector grinding.

Manual conventional machine operating.

CNC Machine operating working to tight tolerances.

Reading drawings.

Qualification/experience:

Experience of working in a similar role.

Able to read drawings.

Problem solver.

Able to utilise measuring equipment.

Shift Patterns Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:15 and Friday 07:30 - 12:00
