Job Title: PDI Technician / Maintenance Technician / Service Technician

Salary: Up to £28,000 plus bonuses

Hours: Monday to Friday – NO Weekends

Hawkfield Recruitment is working with a Midlands based Dealer Group who are looking to recruit a PDI Technician / Service Technician for their Preparation Centre based in Bromsgrove.

Responsibilities of PDI Technician/Service Technician:

• To diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles in accordance with company and manufacturer standards and to meet individual and departmental activity targets.
• To keep updated on technical information through factory bulletins and online training.
• Road Testing.
• Ensuring compliance with manufacturer training and maintain a high level of technical knowledge.
• To ensure compliance with the vehicle health check process, with clear right ups specifying fault cause and rectification.
• To advise line managers on additional repairs in order to obtain permission from the sales department before proceeding.
• To maintain a safe and tidy workspace, following health and safety rules.

Required for Successful application for PDI Technician / Service Technician role:

• Previous workshop experience working with a variety of makes and models.
• Level 2 Qualified Vehicle Technician – or above
• Strong mechanical skills
• Diagnostic experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
