The Company recruiting for the Battery Service Engineer:

• An established company with over 35 years of industry experience
• Known for their friendly customer service and advice covering a range of manufacturers.
• Specialised in new, used, and hire equipment; electrical and battery operated.
• Joining a team of 9 existing engineers

The Role of Battery Service Engineer:

• Covering a territory of Southern England
• A relaxed, non-targeted role - typically 3-4 jobs per day
• 80% service and PPM, 20% reactive breakdowns
• Fault finding on electrical and battery-operated equipment. Mechanical training provided.
• Visiting clients in sectors ranging from Automotive retailers, supermarkets, and warehouses, through to industrial manufacturers, airports, and education.
• Typically working 08:00 - 16:30 Mon - Thur, 08:00 - 15:30 Fri. Return travel paid as overtime.

The Candidate for the Battery Service Engineer:

• Able to fault find using a multi-meter
• Experienced with 12v, 24v, and/or 36v battery systems and machinery
• Electrical bias with a mechanical appreciation
• A brand-ambassador and able to think on feet and use own initiative.
• Can-do attitude and willingness to learn and train.
• A team player
• You will hold a full UK driving licence.

The Package for the Battery Service Engineer:

• £27,000 - £35,000 basic salary depending on experience
• 25% Overtime (uncapped)
• Company van with private use
• Pension, specialist tools, training, laptop, mobile
• 28 days holiday including statutory bank holidays.
