Refrigeration Engineer

£21 per hour + Annual Fuel Allowance of £2000 + Private Medical inc dependants + Pension 7% employer & 5% employee contribution + Overtime Paid at Premium Rates + Significant Opportunities for Training, Development + Progression

Peterhead

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, 45 hours (Some flexibility required).

Refrigeration Engineer required for a market leading manufacturer, who are continuously investing in and growing the business. They are a successful independent company who offer a personable working environment with great opportunities for training, development and progression.

The Refrigeration Engineer Role:

  •          Supporting engineering in all aspects of site refrigeration.
  •          Maintaining the site plant to ensure it runs efficiently.
  •          Creating, implementing, and regularly reviewing and updating a refrigeration maintenance programme.
  •          Minimising downtime with call out support.
  •          Providing status reports and continuing reports regarding the system.
  •          Providing site training to the engineering department when needed.
  •          Providing training, support, and guidance to refrigeration engineer apprentices.
  •          Advising the Chief Engineer of any issues that arise.
  •          Suggest changes for cost savings and performance improvements.

The Successful Refrigeration Engineer:

  •          You will have a formally recognised refrigeration engineering qualification, such as NVQ Diploma level 2/3 in servicing and maintaining refrigeration systems or similar.
  •          Can demonstrate and possesses the appropriate technical competencies and certificates relevant to the skills required e.g.2079 Refrigerant handling, ACRIB, Ammonia, FGAS.
