We are looking for a Civil Design Engineer to join our client, a multi-award winning civil and structural engineering consultancy firm, as part of their Edinburgh team. 

You have:
- Between 3 and 5 years experience in Civil Design Engineering roles.
- A professional investment in working towards chartership.
- Extensive experience in MicroDrainage / Info Drainage.
- Experience working on projects with SEPA & Scottish Water.
- Knowledge of the development of drainage strategy schemes.
- Experience reviewing earthworks and levels propositions (existent or new).
- A desire to be a mentor to developing team members
- A collaborative and amiable communication and working approach.
- A proactive mindset and a desire to progress and grow in your career.

You will:
- Be working with and supporting Engineers and Technical team members.
- Take responsibility for the daily management of projects.
- Find and build solutions to design complexities. 
- Collaborate with the design team en masse. 
- Manage the handling of all documentation and drawings with respect to the QMS. 
- Attend meetings at a client, site, and team level. 
- Oversee the outputs of drafters and technicians alike.
