Maintenance Engineer, up to £44,000 pa, Shift 6am – 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday Permanent, near South Petherton.

As a Maintenance Engineer your role is critical to ensuring the smooth running of the daily manufacturing process and will include:

• Carrying out Preventative and corrective Maintenance as required.
• Support the Engineering management with the continuous improvement program.
• Minimising downtime by prioritising engineering issues.
• Ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner
• Assist with facilities Maintenance and Development

As an experienced Maintenance Engineer you will bring your know-how and experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment, but you will need to have:

• Previous experience in similar role, ideally with a Food or Pharma manufacturing environment
• Excellent IT skills (MS Packages) or ERP systems
• BS7671 Wiring Regulations (18th Edition preferably)
• BTEC National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• PAT testing certificate
• City & Guilds:- TIG/ MIG wielding
• Ideally you will have previous experience of working to GMP regulated facility or similar (BRC, ISO 9001, BETA NOPS).
