CNC Grinder Programmer/Setter Required

We have an exciting new opportunity with our well-established client, based in Clacton-On-Sea, A world class engineering company who manufacture precision machined components for a variety of industries including but not limited to: Medical, Electronic & Aerospace. They are the market leaders in the design and production in engineering and technological innovations.

Following a large period of growth, they are looking for a fully qualified CNC Grinder Programmer/Setter to join their team. You will be responsible for programming and operating CNC Grinding machines to produce precision engineered components according to specifications. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and someone who takes pride in their work.

CNC Grinder - Position Overview

• Programme, Set & Operate CNC Grinders
• Produce products, working off engineering drawings and specifications.
• Review work orders, drawings, and job specifications to determine the correct grinding operation, tools and materials required.
• Perform routine maintenance of CNC Grinding machines.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met.
• Measure and inspect finishes components using instruments such as Micrometres, Gauges & Callipers

CNC Grinder - Position Requirements

• Proven experience operating CNC Grinding machines.
• Familiar with the following: Walter, Vollmer, Numroto, Helitronic Tool Studio, Carbide, Zoller, Helicheck, Balancing, Dressing
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Able to programme, set and operate.
• Relevant qualification
• Experience working with plastics beneficial.
• Familiarity with measuring equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues from different departments.

CNC Grinder - Position Remuneration

• £12 - £14 Per Hour
• Monday to Friday
• 8am - 4:30pm
• On-site parking
• 20 days holiday + BH
• Pension
