Infrastructure Engineer -  Senior DevOps Engineer - Lead DevOps Engineer - AWS

I am currently partnered with a trading firm that is looking for a Senior/Lead Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer to help build out the infrastructure for a new platform.
The successful candidate will possess a blend of technical prowess, hands-on expertise, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a collaborative spirit. If you have a background in low-latency development, your profile will stand out even more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, Lambda, Aurora, S3, ECS, Fargate, and Kubernetes.
• Design and manage high-performance data streaming platforms using Apache Kafka/Kinesis.
• Establish robust CI/CD pipelines utilizing AWS CodePipeline to ensure seamless software delivery.
• Monitor system health and performance using AWS CloudWatch and other relevant tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management tasks using Terraform.
• Implement and enforce best practices for AWS security and networking.

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Proven experience in low-latency development and real-time data environments.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services and tools.
• Strong proficiency in Apache Kafka/Kinesis, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and infrastructure as code.
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation and management.
• Familiarity with AWS security principles and networking concepts.
