Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Electronics Design Engineer to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Milton Keynes.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Electronics Project Engineer to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop electronic circuits and systems, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototyping.
  2. Conduct feasibility studies and research to evaluate new technologies and components for integration into product designs.
  3. Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of electronic systems with overall product functionality.
  4. Perform detailed design analysis, simulation, and testing to verify the performance and reliability of electronic designs.
  5. Generate documentation including design specifications, test plans, and reports to support product development activities.
  6. Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure successful transfer of designs into production.
  7. Provide technical support to internal teams and external partners throughout the product lifecycle.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices in electronics design and incorporate them into our development processes.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in electronic circuit design, PCB layout, and hardware development.
  3. Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics, including microcontrollers, FPGAs, and sensor interfaces.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  5. Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  6. Prior experience in product development within the consumer electronics, automotive, or telecommunications industries is a plus.
