Electronics Technician
Location: Redhill, Surrey
Up to £26,000
A global manufacturing organisation is looking for an Electronics Technician to join their team based in Redhill, Surrey.
Main duties of role
- Wiring and assembly of electronics kits using engineering drawings and bills of materials
- Configuring and testing of electro-mechanical equipment
- Calibrating electronic measuring devices
- Soldering, testing and repair of printed circuit boards
- Use of company software packages to configure and test products
Key skills/experience required
- Level 2/3 NVQ or equivalent in an electronics subject with a strong practical emphasis
- A genuine interest in electronics is essential
- Experience of working in a production team environment
- Understanding of electronics circuit diagrams and engineering drawings
- Use of electronics test equipment and tools
- Experience of working with electro-mechanical systems is desirable
- Experience of repair and calibration of equipment is desirable
- Experience of working with an MRP system is desirable
