Available to provide technical consultancy support and advisory services across every aspect of the Design and Build sector; Main Contractors, Landlords and Professional Teams. They are looking to add an experienced Building Services Engineer to their team

The Role of Building Services Engineer 

We are currently seeking an MEP Design Engineer to join our clients  team. As Building Services Design Engineer, you will be responsible for MEP Design works  and providing advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of building services design and installation. The role involves working in Office Fitout, Universities and commercial properties throughout the UK. This opportunity an electrical designer to work within the M&E consultancy sector.

Responsibilities:

• Provide MEP Design packages on building services design works.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify client needs and requirements.
• Develop detailed building services specifications and designs.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure effective building design and construction.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of building services systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of building services systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other staff members.
• Manage projects related to building services, including budgeting and scheduling.

Essential Requirements of the Building S ervices Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree/ Higher National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or building services. 
• Must be proficiency in AutoCAD , cable calculations and schedules and schematics using relevant software packages
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in building services design and consultancy
• Strong knowledge of building services design principles and practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage projects effectively and efficiently.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when necessary.
