Lead Hardware IOT Product manager opportunity to work on next gen wearable development through use of cutting-edge micro tracking devices, anchored by a network of fixed beacons, The business partner with some of the largest international brands and are currently completing series B. You will be part of the senior leadership and management team on a hybrid (50/50) working basis, London and home working.

The client are looking for an energetic, passionate and experienced Senior Technical Product Manager to join the multidisciplinary international team! The role based in London, you will play a crucial part in defining and driving the technical product roadmap for wireless wearable sports technology products as well as the software and data science that brings it to life. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software, data science, hardware, product, and business development, to deliver world-class solutions that revolutionize the industry!

Lead Hardware IOT Product manager Responsibilities
  • Define and prioritize technical product specifications based on market requirements, customer feedback, and strategic objectives.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable development plans, ensuring feasibility, scalability, and quality.
  • Drive technical validation and testing processes to ensure product performance meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach by gathering insights, conducting user research, and analyzing market trends to inform product decisions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to communicate product updates, gather feedback, and iterate on product features to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging to drive adoption and revenue growth.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Lead Hardware IOT Product manager Responsibilities Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Applied Maths, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Proven track record of 5+ years in technical product management roles, preferably in hardware or IoT industries.
  • Preferably 5+ years’ experience with Python programming language to facilitate technical product analysis and validation.
  • Deep understanding of embedded systems, and hardware development processes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver complex technical products on schedule.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Passion for sports and technology, with a genuine interest in leveraging technology to drive innovation and enhance the sports experience.
