Quantity Surveyor - Required to join a Steelwork Contractor that are based out of their Hampshire office. The Quantity Surveyor will be working for, my client that works on within the rail and Civile Engineering sector across the UK.. The Quaintly Surveyor will be joining a well-established commercial team and company with ambitions of achieving and increase their turnover from £7million up to £15million.

The Quantity Surveyor who would suit this position will have a background within Structural Steel, Steel frames or general Civil Engineering sector. The Quantity Surveyor who steps into this role should have experience and the ability of running a contract to time and within budget and managing multiple projects at one time. The Quantity Surveyor will benefit with having very flexible hours and working form home options as well as the ability to climb the ladder very quickly in this dynamic company.

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview

• Working on projects within Structural Steel
• Completing a range of Contract / Commercial Management duties
• Assist with Valuations
• Assist with Take-off's
• Working closely with the Commercial Director and SQS
• Adhering to health and safety regulations
• Working alongside company procedures and regulations
• Assist in the commercial management of subcontractors, including processing payments
• Assist in preparing subcontract enquiries and subcontract documents.
• Assist with CVR's & Cash flow

Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements

• Degree / HNC within Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
• Full driving licence
• Previous knowledge of Structural Steel / Steel Fames or rail / Civils experience
• Good tenure (no job hopping)
• Experience with a contractor
• Must be looking for a long term role
