Job Role
We are currently working with a top 5 M&E contractor who are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor on one of their residential schemes in Peterborough. This project will take you until the end of the year.
Company Overview
The company specialise in residential projects and are working with some of the biggest Developers such as the Berkeley Group, Countryside and Barrett Homes. This is a great chance to join a business that has a great progressive structure in place, with a company turnover of £(phone number removed).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Reporting into a M&E Project Manager
- Overseeing sub - contractors
- Have the necessary industry qualifications (SSSTS, CSCS etc.)
- Needs to have some experience with HIUs (ideally installation, commissioning, troubleshooting)
- Needs to have experience with testing and flushing of hydronics systems (building services and/or underground)
- Needs to have some experience in installing plantroom equipment
- Needs to be able to read and understand technical drawings and other technical documents
- Good work ethics and time keeping
- Good communication skills, as he’ll need to establish and maintain good working relations with other contractors and client’s site personnel
