The Role
As a Regulatory Affairs Manager, your primary responsibility of this role is to ensure product compliance with EU chemical control legislation/REACH and thereby enable the manufacture, import, and marketability of products within the EU and other regions.

Due to a project trajectory, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to become part of a leading engineering consultancy as a Regulatory Affairs Manager, where you will be responsible for the management of REACH registration Dossiers, to help drive key projects across the UK. Your duties and responsibilities will be
- As a Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for the management of REACH registration dossiers.
- Asses REACH status of products and develop registration and testing strategies.
- Co-ordinate physchem, tox & ecotox endpoint details and monitor associated studies.
- Development of chemical safety assessment for products with respect to workers, consumers, and environmental exposure and lifecycle descriptions.
- Defend products against regulatory actions taken by the authorities (evaluation, authorization, restriction)
- Consult BU & GF regarding REACH regulatory requirements and assist with customer inquiries.
- Monitor and analyse the impact of the chemical control legislation and related guidance for REACH.
- BSC/MSc in Chemistry and/or environmental science, toxicology, ecology, or comparable education.
- Project Management & work experience within the fields of substance evaluation, registration & REACH.
- Advanced knowledge of REACH regulations and processes, risk assessment, intrinsic substance characteristics, classification & labelling.
- Good written and verbal communication & teamwork skills.
- Strong general IT skills such as, office, Chesar, iuclid, SAP EHS.
