A Sales Engineer / External Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager is required to join a leading, global manufacturer of sensors and automation products covering the Southeast of England.
The successful Sales Engineer / External Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will be responsible for account management and business development across various industries providing technical support widely within automation.
Sales Engineer / External Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Would ideally have experience, knowledge or interest in automation, electrical/electronic products, or sensors, full product training is required.
Package
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
OTE: £10,000 - £12,000

Holidays 25 Days + Bank holidays

Sales Engineer / External Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager role
- Managing a number of key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers in various industries
- Maintaining new sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Handling customer enquiries and preparing quotations for customers.
- Providing technical advice to and consulting complex applications.
- Grow and develop an existing patch and devise sales strategies.
- Work with other members of the Sales, Marketing and Technical teams, to identify issues, propose solutions and take part in projects to contribute to operational and sales efficiency.
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar ideally within automation, engineering, process instrumentation, sensors or electronics.
- Technical knowledge of the automation sector is beneficial.
- An engineering degree in mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, chemical engineering or similar would be beneficial.
- Full clean driving license.
- Covering the East Anglia, ideally based in Cambridge Bury St Edmundsor the surrounding area.
