Production Manager - Capital Equipment Manufacturing - Bedford

We are a hugely successful and pioneering machinery manufacturer proud to be delivering innovative, bespoke solutions and turnkey systems to our customers all over the world. In line with our continued growth, we are looking for a high calibre and experienced Production Manager to lead the existing team. This is an engaging role that would fit a highly driven, hands-on professional with a solid background in managerial roles within precision engineering, custom manufacturing or capital equipment sectors. The successful applicant will oversee a team of 10-15 members, liaising extensively across departments monitoring and controlling all production activities and resources to achieve the planned programme effectively and efficiently.

• Strong experience in Production Management and able to manage machine builds, tool unit build and assembly build to the hours
• Able to plan work and utilising resource effectively
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to break down any 'resistors' to changing processes or moving forward

• Proactive, results driven
