Role – Service Engineer position
Location – Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hours - 08.00 - 4.30pm
Salary - £25,000 per annum, this will increase after a 3 month period.
Capacity of role – Permanent position

Our client is currently recruiting for a Service Engineer to join their busy installation team.
This role requires an applicant who is a talented all round fabricator. Within this role you will be given the opportunity to work all round the UK, working at their main office as well as onsite.
You will be following the product range from start to completion.

Main duties will includes –
• Fabrication and welding of Mild Steel
• Using manual Lathes, Press Brake and Guillotines
• Servicing pre-installed equipment
• Reading from simple Engineering drawings
• Helping to load and unload deliveries using a counterbalance fork lift
• As required dealing with customers enquiries
• Maintaining your working area keeping it tidy and organised at all times

Candidate attributes –

• Relevant experience or qualification within Engineering
• Competent at accurately calculating measurements
• Some knowledge of using manual machines would be ideal
• A strong team player
• Practical, hands-on Engineering Skills
• The ability to work autonomously with self-discipline
