£40,000 - £45,000/annum

This role will see you join a well-established business in the Middleton area within their Electrical Maintenance Team. You will need to be able to fault find and perform diagnosis on safety circuits, and you will need a good understanding of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Description

  • Safety circuit fault finding and diagnosis.
  • 3 phase motor control circuits.
  • Relay logic and control.
  • PLC fault diagnosis.
  • AC & DC variable speed drives (able to fault find on drives and drive control circuits).
  • Knowledge of sensors, proximity, optical etc.
  • Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Telemecanique.

Profile

  • 18th Edition IEE wiring regulations is essential.
  • Qualified to a minimum ONC or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read and understand electrical drawings.
  • Computer literate and able to process work orders through MMS system.
  • Ability to prioritise conflicting work priorities.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines to minimise down-time.
  • Flexible approach to work as a team player.
  • Flexibility to undertake any relevant task efficiently, on own initiative.
  • Good work ethic is essential, as is reliability and commitment to the company.
