Opportunity Overview:

Garrett Green are representing an Aerospace company based in Oxfordshire, who due to sustained growth, are looking to add to their Quality team. This role is looking for a Systems and Process lead Quality Engineer who can help develop processes that work harmoniously with the organisation, to think outside the box and work closely with internal teams on projects to ensure quality standards are maintained.

Due to rapid expansion this role will eventually have room for Growth within the Quality team , who consist of Design Engineers, Supplier Quality Engineers and other Quality Engineers.

The day to day:

  • Developing and Implementation business processes and systems in line with AS9100.
  • Being the Quality representative on development projects.
  • Investigating root causes and taking corrective actions.
  • Driving closure of non – conformances with Process leads.
  • Driving APQP, AIR and PPAP activities.
  • Attending Supplier and Customer visits with the Supplier Quality team.
  • Auditing Business Management systems.
  • Involvement in change management and design for assembly/manufacture
  • Support in the development and deployment of quality objectives.

What you will need:

  • Experience in a Quality role within Aerospace (Quality Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer)
  • Familiar with CAA regulations Part21G and Part21J.
  • AS9100 and Process Auditing
  • Internal Auditing experience.
  • Experience in the use of APQP tools and techniques.
  • Experienced in the use of statistical analysis, process capability and problem resolution tools: 8D, 5 Why, 6 Sigma etc.

Salary + Benefits

  • £45,000 - £60,000 (Dependant on Experience)
  • 9:30 – 4:30 Monday – Thursday and 9:30 – 1:00 on Friday
  • 30 Days Holiday
