The Role - CNC Machinist
- Work safely and in line with the Company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for the Quality and Inspection of their own
- Take ownership for cleaning and de-burring of the parts.
- Maintain good standards and support a culture of 5S plus Safety in the way you carry out your work.
- Set the machines and operate machines.
- Tooling/fixtures and Edgecam programmes within the Engineering Department.
- Work to the priorities of the “Work to List” or as “Set Out” by Production
- All production hours must be captured through the booking of time on the works
- Run the machines in line with the speeds and feeds called up by the programs and monitor performance
- Inspection of the parts produced, using micrometers, verniers and coordinate measuring machine reports.
- A Qualification within Engineering
- Experienced within a machine shop or engineering environment.
- Experience of Production Machining both Manual & CNC. Experience and knowledge in working with Duplex and Nickel Alloy
- Good numerical and literacy skills
37.5 Per Week - Double Days
6.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Thursday and 6.00am to 11.30am Friday 2.00pm to 10.00pm Monday to Thursday and 11.30am to 5.00pm Friday
37.5 Per Week - Nights
10:00pm to 6:00am Monday to Thursday and 5:00pm-10:30pm Fridays
