Are you an experienced Machinist? If so, Owen Daniels are recruiting for CNC Machinists for a well-established, global leader in machined components who specialise across a number of industries.

The Role - CNC Machinist
  • Work safely and in line with the Company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Take responsibility for the Quality and Inspection of their own
  • Take ownership for cleaning and de-burring of the parts.
  • Maintain good standards and support a culture of 5S plus Safety in the way you carry out your work.
  • Set the machines and operate machines.
  • Tooling/fixtures and Edgecam programmes within the Engineering Department.
  • Work to the priorities of the “Work to List” or as “Set Out” by Production
  • All production hours must be captured through the booking of time on the works
  • Run the machines in line with the speeds and feeds called up by the programs and monitor performance
  • Inspection of the parts produced, using micrometers, verniers and coordinate measuring machine reports.
Skills/ Experience - CNC Machinist
  • A Qualification within Engineering
  • Experienced within a machine shop or engineering environment.
  • Experience of Production Machining both Manual & CNC. Experience and knowledge in working with Duplex and Nickel Alloy
  • Good numerical and literacy skills
Shifts - CNC Machinist

37.5 Per Week - Double Days
6.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Thursday and 6.00am to 11.30am Friday 2.00pm to 10.00pm Monday to Thursday and 11.30am to 5.00pm Friday

37.5 Per Week - Nights 
10:00pm to 6:00am Monday to Thursday and 5:00pm-10:30pm Fridays
